Marijn Hermanus is the most experienced impro teacher you may have never heard of. Playing for 30 years and teaching for 20 years at Papaver in Alkmaar, he has only recently started to expand his work. Taught by the likes of Besseling, Bill, Boorsma, Dixon, Stiles and White, he likes to combine poetic storytelling and deep emotional impact with playfulness and experimentation. He also likes names in alphabetical order.
He hasn’t quit his day job (yet). It’s at an LGTBQIA+ organisation.
