Karen Eleanor Wight is a New York City based actress, dancer, improviser, and teacher. Karen has been improvising for 27 years and, with Asaf Ronen, makes up the wordless improv duo Imp (think Chaplin meets Looney Tunes). Imp has performed long-form improv festivals around the country. In addition to performing, Karen teaches improv at festivals nationally and internationally including NYC, Seattle, Toronto, New Zealand, Austin, Baltimore, Miami, and Los Angeles. For clowning and corporal mime, she has studied with Christopher Bayes (of Juilliard Kennedy Center, and NYU) and Christopher Eaves (student of Marcel Marceau) respectively. As a movement coach, she has worked with off-Broadway and NYC-based touring productions.
